Broken bones | Ronovan Writes Sijo Wednesday Poetry Challenge #26

tenacious winds sweep ocean sands
          higher up eroded  beaches 
fallen trees tangle barren branches
          with bleaching bones and roots 
the sea is naked ... footprints turned to clay ...
           bird songs echo from the past
